So today I wanted to talk about a health journey which I also call a lifestyle journey and one thing I really wanted to talk about is why you shouldn’t go into fitness and health
And I know people must be like but better your health is a good thing and it is but only if you’re doing it for the right reason
You should not start a fitness/health journey if your family/friends/spouse etc.. told you to do it or if you’re trying to make someone jealous. This journey is for you and only you so if you intend to do it for someone else then you will eventually put the pounds back and the person might not even notice you lost weight. They probably don’t even care and some people will never be satisfied with you because of their own insecurities so do you boo and do it only for you!
You should not start a fitness/health journey if you do not have the mindset that this is a lifestyle change… The fitness gurus are right! You have to do this forever not just a day or a month or a week legit forever. So make your life and your meals fair and work on what you can. If you can’t drink water everyday try drinking every Monday. Try incorporating fruits once a week. Small goals are easier and more likely to be achieved.
You should not start a fitness/health journey if you do not want to put in the work. You have to work out 3-5 days a week. You have to eat right about 80% or higher of the time. Even if you mess up you have to keep trying. This is not an overnight fix and unfortunately its going to take a whole lot of you but its worth it!
You should not start a fitness/health journey if your scared to fail. Because your going to fail time and time again. But the difference between your past diets and this lifestyle is that its life and you will fail and make mistakes and all you have to do it get up and do the best you can do.
You should not start a fitness/health journey if its your new years resolution because many people who do this will go for a month and then quick. Really think about why you’re becoming more healthy and why this is important and go from there 🙂
Now some for jokes!
You should not start a fitness/health journey if you do not have a great playlist! Playlist are awesome and music is life so if you don’t have a playlist that gets you pumped then come on!
You should not start a fitness/health journey if you do not have enough fitness wear or socks! You will run out of these so fast and if your like me and don’t do laundry every week you’ll need at least a solid 25 pair. Insane I know!
You should not start a fitness/health journey ifyou’re not willing to have cheat days! Come on pancakes and chocolate and burritos are delicious so enjoy it !
