IN THE MORNING: YOU DON’T GOT TO BE A FITNESS GURU

SO I was thinking the other day about how some people might think that they have to be fitness guru or fitness guru like to go to the gym and eat right

and I say thisbecause the gym can be intimidating especially when your gym has a full set of men in the weight section (usually my gym all the time)

And you start thinking in your head are they looking at me? What are they saying ? I’m not confident enough for this and in reality most of it is in your head

Usually anyone who is at the gym is trying to better themselves and have a more healthy and sustainable lifestyle so why would they be looking at you when they have to focus at themselves

And this is usually what I say to convince myself to get up and go and especially go to the weight section because at the end of the day you don’t need to think everyone is staring

Just focus on yourself how your body feels and you are doing at the gym and that is that

Fitness Gurus can sometimes make things like workout routines look complicated or unachievable and trust me when I say they are achievable

And I say this because I am like this too I say yeah I’m going to do this workout and eat right and w.e. but then I start scrolling through instagram and try to find inspiration and instead I get a bit self-conscious about trying out these workouts at the gym

Because you do not want to look like an idiot or someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing

But its hard sometimes because sometimes you really don’t know what you’re doing! and these fitness guru’s make it look so easy as if lifting 10 pounds isn’t hard enough already

And I am not bashing fitness gurus I think they awesome and their bodies are insane and their videos are quite helpful

I’m just here to tell you that you’re not the only one that has anxiety to go to the gym or that has even more anxiety going into a machine and not knowing what to do with said machine

And you guys might be thinking so how do you get over the anxiety? Well I kind of just say w.e. and do the work out or go to the machine section. I am at a point in my life where I don’t care what people think and you shouldn’t either. If you don’t know what to do on a machine just ask people are usually super friendly.

And if you want to try something new TRY IT! It’s better to try it and completely fail then to not try it at all and then regret never trying it 🙂

I hope this has helped someone today to get off the bike, treadmill, elliptical and to hit the weights!
