Now lately I’ve been having a lot of stress and I’ve been also juggling multiple things and then realize sometimes I need to take a break and relax
Now everyone has a different way of relaxing and thats completely fine
Mine usually consist of meditating, praying or doing some yoga
My lazy hack though of taking a break is taking a much needed nap or sneaking in a piece of dark chocolate (to reward myself of all the hard work)
One things that keeps me completely calm is Candles, not only do they smell so good they also have a relaxing feeling (just remember to turn it off if your taking a nap)
I usually like sweeter scents and have a horrible way of describing things so just try to understand (LOL for my sake) I’ll try
Five candles that I am obsessed with:
This has a citrus kind of smell and its sooo good
Its mango and lychee what can go wrong really
This LITERALLY smells like manhattan beaches the smell is spot on
This also smells like your sitting by the water and relaxing
Smells so fruity and like the summer time ughh too good
Like I said I apologize again at how horrible I am at describing scents but trust me these are so good and lastt…. I’ll list some of the ingredients down below to give you guys a sense of the scent LOL (sense – scent)

Deep Blue Sea Ingredients rose, lavender, sage, clove and mush Retail price:$15.00
Hey guysss!! I just wanted to let you know that I will continue to do random post but now I’ll implement a subject each month that I will post about the entire month. This is so its a bit more organized so for example on this month of august I’ll be talking about Home Goods. Next month I’ll switch it up. Thanks for the support!
A little back story so I was watching this documentary called the minimalist(its on Netflix btw) and it really did open my eyes and give me a change in perspective
They essentially talk about how we usually collect all this stuff most of which we don’t use or has no value to us and how we can de-clutter our lives and have happier ones as a result
I immediately went through my clothes and took out items I knew I wouldn’t wear and decided to donate them instead
But I did minimal things here and there because I do believe you can still have decor in your house that means something to you
Five item essentials to make your home and you(obviously) a little brighter and better:
This Himalayan rock salt lamp is a must have for your room or living room. When my mom first bought this I was a bit skeptical but when its turned on and you touch it, you immediately become calm. It can clean the air around you and can be used when doing some meditation. Its not too bulky so it won’t take a lot of space in your house. Also its 16 bucks which is a steal (compared to reg price)!!
On the subject of Himalayan salt, there is also a cutting board which seems pretty cool and can also give a lot of flavor to your food! If your a foodie and love to cook this is definitely something to try out in a house or over the grill. I suggest getting the tray as well since the himalayan salt can get dirty. This retails for 30 dollars.
Blankets are probably one of my favorite things in the whole world and because of this I keep a few in the living room for myself and guest. I like really soft cozy ones but that can be affordable. Target is a great place to get your monies worth without putting a hole in your pocket.
1. Retails 39.99 a little steep but it heats up your blanket
Candles!! They smell so good and can give you a relaxing vibe (if your in the mood). They also can give your room a cute look without being overwhelming. I personally love candles in my room. Just remember to turn them off. I usually prefer candles in jars.
Thought this would smell good as well retails 12.34
5. Last but not least some plants or flowers are great to give your place a cute look without spending a bunch of dollarrss. Remembering to water a plant is sometimes a hard job but seeing it grow is actually really rewarding. You can get flowers and plant seeds at your local store. Down below I’ll show some of my favorite flowers/plants.
Oreganoo smells so good retails for 23.99
Lavenderrrr I love how they look retails for 12.99
SOOO yayyyy it’s been a month or so that I have tried out these products and thought it would be a good time to give my update on them
Now for those of you that are probably reading this like what hair products I’ll leave a link right here
So starting off with the CHI INFRA shampoo I really like this product because it smells good almost like a cologne kind of smell and it’s not as sudsy as other shampoos I’ve tried it also cleans my hair really well. Also I use about two dime size of this product meaning this will last me a lifetime. ALSOOO THE 32 OZ IS ON SALEEEE FOR THE SAME PRICE AS THE 12 OZ ON ULTA!!!
The only negative thing that I have to say about this product is if I use like a treatment or product before using the shampoo my hair can feel kind of stiff after I wash it out but when I use it regularly it works good
The CURLS blueberry bliss leave in conditioner GAME CHANGERRRRR I’m in love with this stuff not only does it smell like blueberries(yum) it works so well on my hair and I don’t have to use a lot I usually use two quarter size on my hair and trust me when I say usually use a lot of product in my hair (way more then two quarter sizes) but this stuff is BOMB and the SLIP is amazing
Carols Daughter sacred tiare fortifying conditioner another winning streak for me again its smells amazing and I like that it has a pump( I get lazy squeezing a bottle) and the slip on this is amazing I use about a palm size on my hair and it works wonders the only thing I’m sad about is that I wish they had a bigger size because I can see myself running out of this in about a month
SO THATS IT! LMK if you want me to do another random product try out I’ll love to experiment more on my hair on any products you would like me to try
Also what works for me might not work for you I have 3b/3c curly hair but all the ingredients on these products are safe and could work on anyones hair
This is a random post for a random rant kind of day
Five reasons why I dislike makeup/beauty trends:
JUST an FYI its not that I hate the trends but these are just things that bug me out and might even bug you out
Everyone(meaning beauty gurus or insta makeup guru or aspiring blah) swears by these oil or these brushes and I’ll tell you why I dislike it too and its because it unrealistic and what works for them might not work for you we all have different skin, texture, pigmentation etc… but saying that everyone that has tried it has gotten this magical skin is like hmmmmmmmm
Everyone is starting to look the same and hey if your doing a cosmetic treatment for you go ahead but we should start to question why some beauty gurus are looking alike and start to remember that its good to be different
This is just a personal hate of mine but NOSE HIGHLIGHTING now I do highlight my nose but some of the makeup I see while I scroll through my instagram/snapchat, the highlight on the nose is EXCESSIVE and it just looks too much and I get it if its for the occasional going out but everyday its just too muchhh
Gimmicky teas and such and although they could actually work I think its best for the consumer to just have a balanced diet
Everyone all of a sudden is a makeup artist and hey if thats what you want to do for the rest of your life don’t let me bring you down but not everyone can do makeup and the average person is also a self taught makeup artist
BONUS: Because I just remembered this while upload the picture OVER LINING THE LIPS
all I’m going to say about this is that we notice we can see it maybe not in pictures but when you hit that door outside we are aware
LOL sorry for this long rant guys this is just things that have been bugging me out for a while and I had to share let me know if I missed anything
Also comment if you agree disagree what you ate hows your day LOL ill love to hear from you guys
So I decided to write some summer essential/needs for anyone that is going to be out in the summer:
Since I have dry skin (as you guys already know) I tend to get even more dry in the summer especially around my face area because I also wear makeup so to combat that I use a facial cleansing oil. I’ve been using the Julep love your bare face and it has been amazinggggggg. Its 28 zollas which is a bit expensive for 3.5 oz but its worth it.
And I am hard to impress but this stuff I LOVE. Not only does it get rid of all your makeup and you won’t have to go in with wipes or another cleansing wash. It also hydrates and balances your skin. Its crazy because I’ve noticed my skin becoming more normal after using this. You can use this to cleanse your face daily or to take off your makeup.

Rose waterrrrr has been a holy grail for me. I use it for everything to refresh my face, to set my makeup, to hydrate my skin everyyyything. Now I have two that I enjoy first being the Mario Badescu rose water because its cheap 7 zollas for 4.0 oz and its really sets your face and hydrates your skin.

2. But the rosewater I’m super impressed with is the glossier soothing face mist. Now I’m already an advocate for glossier stuff because everything that I have purchased from them has done my face wonders. I don’t know what it is about this face mist but it can set and hydrate but also it balances your skin. I saw a dramatic difference in the way my skin looked and feel it was crayy. Also it has a lovely scent for those that like a good scent. Its 18 dollars and I’ve repurchased this twice.

Now the last two items I want to talk about our my favs favs
One is the simple protecting light moisturizer in spf 15 this is awesome for the summer because for dry skin people who have those issues of finding a facial cream or even a body lotion that’ll moisturize your skin without leaving like an oily residue is hard. But this is it and its works very well under makeup as well. Its gentle on the skin and really hydrates. Its 10 dollars which is awesome (thank god for drugstore brands)
(image from target website)
Now the lasstttt thing (sorry by the way that this is a bit longer then most post but I get super excited about skin care) is the Anderson Lilley Manhattan beach beach butter body cream. This stuff is sooo good. It smells amazing, it literally smells like being at the beach and its super hydrating on the skin. I put this on multiple times a day because its so good. Price is 24 dollass for 5 oz and its very much worth it. It can be used for your body or as a hand cream.
